It may seem that if you are planning basketball party games, your games need all be outdoors, but as everyone knows, parties must be planned with contingencies for the possibility that the party could be forced indoors. One option, should you wish to plan a basketball party is to arrange to have the party at an outdoor street ball court, or arrange to have the party at a local indoor basketball court. Should you need to move your party indoors, if you have scouted out the area for a public indoor court, you can always move indoors in the case of inclement weather, so have a contingency plan.

Basketball Indoor Party Games

Now, if you plan to have your basketball party at your home, the options in case of unexpected weather problems are more limited, but not insurmountable. Just have an indoor area cleared with an indoor goal and nerf balls, and you should have built in basketball party games. Basketball party games of horse or free throw basketball party game competitions work well for prize opportunities as do games of basketball trivia and other sports related activities.

Be sure to have basketball party games for down time, so the guests will have an opportunity to cool down, and get ready to eat, open presents, or just get out of the sunshine. This is particularly important if the party is outdoors in hot weather. A shaded area or even a man made shade is imperative for really hot weather. Consider having blankets or heavy plastic spread out (stake them down if it is windy) and have coloring books or printed coloring sheets, sports trivia basketball party games handy, and as long as you have plenty of drinks and snacks handy, your basketball party games are sure to be a hit.

Little boys need to be heroes, themselves. They have a protective feeling over their mother, little sister, little brother and so on. If you think about it, little boys never like the negative character, and they always fight with the winner. Playing for the good side can also be beneficial for them, as it helps little boys make a clear distinction between right and wrong.

Little boys are also very active. While little girls like playing house, boys like playing football. Whatever game requires activity is suitable for them. This is exactly why, most little boys develop a serious passion for sports games. Sports games can also be highly beneficial for them as it develops the competitive instinct, but also the team spirit. These are both valuable features you want your son to learn.

Boys are an active lot and get bore easily. To help them to stay out of trouble at parties, we must keep them occupied and let them have a good time. You do have some options when planning a party for boys. For example most boys love a certain super hero or cartoon. The entire party could have that particular theme. Whether they come dressed up as their super heroes or cartoon character, they can have loads of fun interacting with one another.

If your child plays a musical instrument or love music, center your theme on musical games and activities. For instance you might want to gather a percussion band. However just make sure that those who attend the party but cannot play music or sing are not left out. Maybe they can dance instead, so everybody will have a good time.

Another idea is to hold a party in a restaurant whereby a section could be closed off for private functions. Many of the fast food joints do allow private parties to be held and some even provide a ‘game host’ to help in entertaining the children. Check out some pizza joints that offer arcade gaming as well.

Go carting is another viable option for growing boys especially the older ones. They can safely compete with each other around a track. It is best if you could arrange yourself a private party spot to make it easier for you to keep track of the younger ones.

A competitive sport outing, such as a game of touch football, is another great party idea for boys. You supervise the game and teach those who do not know the game to play. Let the best team wins and give them a prize.

Another option is to take them to places surround by computers and space-age technology like a space museum. Besides entertainment there are opportunities to learn and have fun at the same time.

There are of course the classic party games that make people happy and laugh, like pinning the tail on the donkey. Make it more exciting by hiding a balloon behind the spot where the tail should be so that when the tail is pinned on, there goes a pop!

A water balloon fight in the back yard is another fun option. If you volunteer to be the subject of their target, it would bring on extra fun in this water-dunking game. If you feel like being more extravagant, perhaps you can rent a classic dunk tank game which is played at most fairs. The whole group will get a kick out of dunking people under water by shooting a lever above a water tank. However caution and supervision is especially advised for such an event.

Lastly, you can opt for a potato-couch party. Get plenty of popcorn ready and let them watch their favorite movies or play video games.

Keeping active boys busy during a party is not as stressful as you think if you know how to keep them happy and occupied. Just make sure they enjoy what they are doing and keep a watch over them at all times.

Here are two fun kissing party games that teenagers would enjoy.

Kissing Race

Props: None

Number of people: 8+

Can be played in a big room or outdoors.

Divide your guests into two groups – boys and girls. Let the boys number themselves from 1 to ? and let the girls do the same. Players must keep their number a secret.

The host stands in the middle and call out two random numbers – if the host is male, then the first number will be that of a girl and the second number that of a boy. Whoever’s number was called must run up to the host to kiss him. The boy whose number was called must try to kiss the girl before she gets to kiss the host.

Whoever manages to ‘get there first’ takes over he roll of the host in calling the next two numbers.

Play until everybody has had a turn or until the game decends into chaos.

Kissing Roulette

Props: 2 Dice; Numbered cards with body parts; 2 Sets of cards numbered from 1 to max number of boys/girls.

Number of people: 6+

Divide your guests into two groups – boys and girls. Hand out number cards to the boys and the girls. Players must keep their number a secret.

The host throws the dice 3 times. The first number selects the girl, the second number selects the boy she must kiss and the third number selects a card that displays a body part where she has to kiss him.

Ideas for body part cards:

The hand;

The cheek;

The lips;

The nose;

The backside;

The foot

Continue playing, next time selecting the boy first and then selecting the girl he has to kiss.

Play until everybody has had a turn at being ‘kisser’.

I’ve already written how to become the woman of his dreams. Now it’s time to have some fun. Pushing buttons is my favorite thing in a relationship – it’s incredibly personal, and it’s like an inside joke between the two of you!

WARNING: This is only recommended for the fun/frivolous dynamic couple types – if either one of you is easily rattled by change, then this isn’t for you.

Now, my idea for a relationship is 90% fun, 10% serious business. Your lives are entwined for a sometimes-brief or, sometimes-surprisingly-long amount of time. So it’s really your call if you’re still up for little tests to bring out some spice in a relationship, or finally just settling. Your problems are his, and his problems are yours. The fun part is annoying your boy-toy without becoming part of his problems. These would either drive him wild, or make him start remembering why he likes you in the first place. The purpose of these naughty schemes is finding out a little truth, and just plain punishment. We’re all wired to avoid pain and pursue pleasure, what if both stem from one person? This makes you hard to read, and not easily taken for granted. Now for some sexy saboteur-work!

Make demands when you know he’s busiest. After a hard day at work, he has a basketball game with his friends – ask him to come over with something after that, like, a cupcake, or the latest issue of your favorite magazine. If he, blessed with some amount of extra energy, does come by, give him a “goodnight and go.” If, say, he has a week for a vacation, occupy it by asking him to go some place, say, like La Samanna.

This little exercise tells you one of two things: is he flexible enough to surrender to a torrid terrorist, or is he just “too tired” to even see you? Don’t make this a determinant on whether or not you get to keep the guy, (if it’s a relationship, then you’re both entitled to co-ownership status, right?) it’s just a test. J (PS. Don’t do this if his busy-ness stems from family matters.)

Become a mistress for detail. Remember what he says about certain things, then quote him on it when he’s about to do the opposite. Like, for example, he says, “you’re the first thing on my mind when I wake up.” – give him a 3 am-wake up call and ask him what’s on his mind. If he says something like, “it’s 3 am!,” banter with, “I thought I’m the first thing on your mind when you wake up?”

Given, you may have caught him off-guard, but, does that mean that when caught off-guard, what he says and what he does are two different things?!

Hot and cold. Become hot or cold water based on … anything. I have this bad feeling when things get too good sometimes. Create a little drama. (Just a little, mind you.) Be amused at a small gesture he does for you (something you genuinely appreciate, I hope!) and reward him by being crazy for him that day. (This’ll surprise him.) Next day, just be cold.

For some reason, (and hopefully everyone can relate) when you act cold, it is magically assumed that you’re angry over something. If he gets guilty – why? Is there something to be guilty about? And what, girls aren’t allowed to be moody?!

Be open to bribes though, they’re fun to receive.

This was written as retaliation for some boy-crimes. (You know what they are!) Plus, I’ve been swept off my feet more than a couple of times already! These are for finding out some little facts about your boy-toy. Don’t let these be a measure on whether or not a relationship is worth keeping. (Make it a footnote!)
